Sulli deals 2.0: Muslim women being auctioned onApp as 'Bulli Bai'
Sulli deals 2.0 in the name of bulli bai is listing Muslim women on the app for auction.
Another incident has come where Muslim women have been targeted. Hundreds of photos are uploaded on an app called ‘bulli bai' using GitHub by an unknown group, this was done on the 1st of January 2022. This type of similar incident happened 6 months back in the name of ‘Sulli deals' which was also done using GitHub but no action was taken by the Delhi police. Despite FIR being filed one in Uttar Pradesh and the other in Delhi.
How one can say that they are targeting only Muslims?
‘Sulli' or ‘sulla' is a diminishing word used to term Muslims and bulli seems to be a spin of this term.
This app is used using an app hosting platform GitHub, once the app is opened you randomly get a display of a Muslim woman face tagged as ‘bulli bai'.Still, there is no clarity on whether this has been stopped or not.
The wire journalist named Ismat Ara also faced this but she updated later that she had filed an FIR against this and also stated that Muslim women have to start the beginning of new year with fear.

MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi supported women’s by tweeting and also asked to take this matter seriously. Priyanka Chaturvedi has also spoken to DGP Maharashtra for intervention.
