At the same Banswara event, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma praised PM Modi’s vision, highlighting that Rajasthan has become India’s number one state for solar energy—thanks to a surge in rooftop and large-scale solar installations. The CM lauded the ongoing mission to place solar plants on government buildings and the job drive, with over 75,000 government appointments made and nearly 2 lakh more in process. Sharma promised that Rajasthan, under PM Modi, will play a leading role in making India a global powerhouse.
