What is egg freezing?

Egg freezing is also called oocyte cryopreservation. This technique is used to postpone pregnancy without considering the age factor. As many want to delay it due to social issues or medical issues.  This includes several weeks of hormone injection, which restores ovaries to ripe multiple times. When the eggs get mature, final maturation induction is performed, preferably by using a  GnRH agonist since it decreases the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
