Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets with 21 balls remaining

Virat Kohli does not win many tosses, but today he did and put the Rajasthan Royals to bat. RR had a poor start to the innings. They lost both their openers Jos Buttler 8(8), Manan Vohra 7(9) and the big hitter David Miller for duck under powerplay. Just as the captain Sanju Samson was settling down, all-rounder Washington Sundar dismissed him, caught at mid-wicket by Maxwell. Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag came in and tried to take hold of the innings, but Parag fell soon on 25(16). Dube scored 46 off 32 balls and with the help of Rahul Tewatia's cameo of 40 off 23. RR managed to put a total of 177/9. Mohammed Siraj registered a strong performance today with his bowling figures of 3/27. Kyle Jamieson(1-27) was also economical on a flat wicket. Purple Cap holder Harshal Patel went for 47 runs in the match but added 3 scalps to his tally.

In the second innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to a brilliant start that never ended. They won magnanimously by 10 wickets with 21 balls remaining. Twenty years old Devdutt Padikkal smashed an unbeaten ton in just 52 balls. Captain Virat Kohli returned to his best and played some classic cover drives and flicks. He stayed not out at the score 72 off
47 deliveries. With this big win, RCB makes it 4 wins out of 4 matches and moves to the top of the table with 8 points.
