Man marries girlfriend, abandons her when she’s 3-months pregnant citing her character

BENGALURU: A woman in Kamakshipalya has filed a complaint against her husband who abandoned her just three months after their love marriage, leaving her pregnant.

The woman, originally from Kunigal, worked at a private mall in Bengaluru, where she met Hemant Kumar. He pursued her relentlessly and they got married in March. However, just three months later, he left her, citing her character as the reason.

Now, the woman, who is three months pregnant, is searching for her husband and has approached the police. She filed a complaint at the West Division Women’s police station, and the police have called both the husband and wife for counselling.
