Preview: Match 10 KKR vs RCB

Virat Kohli-led RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) will be against Eoin Morgan’s KKR (Kolkata knight Riders) in the 10th match of this year’s IPL (Indian Premier League). RCB is the only unbeaten side till now in this season of IPL. RCB has won both their matches and is currently at the top of the table, whereas KKR has won their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and lost the second game against Mumbai Indians. KKR will be looking to get back into the winning momentum, and on the other side RCB would like to make a hat-trick of wins.

In the last match against Mumbai, Kolkata was in a comfortable position as they needed just 31 runs in the remaining 30 balls. But then, the side collapsed like a house of cards and eventually lost the match. While RCB in their last match showed a great fight and defended the score of 149 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, with this excellent win RCB, is high in confidence and will try to continue their unbeaten run, on the other hand, KKR will be looking to reverse their fortunes.

Pitch and Condition:

This match will be played in Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, where the ball does not come onto the bat easily which makes scoring runs difficult for the batsman. The best time to score runs is with the new ball. The side winning the toss will most probably choose to bat first. Spinners and the pacers with good slower ones will play a major role in today’s match

Probable XI:

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

RCB’s tournament is going excellent so far, and there is no need to make any changes on the side.

Team: Virat Kohli (C), Devdutt Padikkal, Shahbaz Ahmed, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (WK), Washington Sundar, Daniel Christian, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Kolkata Knight Riders:

After the only loss against Mumbai Indians, KKR is not expected to make any changes to their side and would most probably come out to the ground with the same XI.

Team: Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan (C), Shakib Al Hasan, Dinesh Karthik (WK), Andre Russell, Pat Cummins, Harbhajan Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy
