Priyanka Gandhi has equal spark as Indira Gandhi: Shiv Sena
Shiv Sena on Wednesday said Priyanka Gandhi has equal spark as her grandmother Indira Gandhi.
The Shiv Sena argued Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress leader has equal spark as her grandmother Indira Gandhi while criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday. As per the sources Priyanka Gandhi was detained during her way to meet the family members of the farmers’ who died during the Lakhimpur-Kheri district, (about 130 km from Lucknow) violence when the farmers’ protest took an intensive turn on Sunday.
Saamana, a Marathi language newspaper in its editorial mentioned that Priyanka Gandhi is the general secretary of the Congress party. There are higher chances of political attack on her but she didn’t stop herself as she is the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, a great leader whose sacrifices for the country are unforgettable. Those who wrongly imprisoned her have known this fact. Also, Priyanka Gandhi is a strong leader and fighter. Her eyes and voice have equal spark as Indira Gandhi it added.
Shiv Sena argument:
Sena claimed that the Uttar Pradesh administration had not only stopped her but wrongly handled Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress general secretary who was only asking about her crime or if there was an FIR was registered against her. Also, she was insulted. The Shiv Sena argued that the one who fired bullets on farmers’ at the Jallianwalla Bagh was a British, the one who crushed Freedom Fighter Baba Genu under a truck in Mumbai was also British as he was protesting against foreign clothes. But the one who crushed farmers’ fighting for their rights is the son of a Union Minister.
Also, Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena MP met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on Tuesday. After the meeting, Sanjay Raut told the reporters “I met Rahul Gandhi, we had many discussions but I cannot disclose. Also, we had discussions on Lakhimpur-Kheri incident” he added.
