Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray opens up on Aryan Khan Drug case, talks against NCB
The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray slammed the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in his Dusshera Address this year; he talked in a taunting way without mentioning the name of any authority or celebrity.
“All they are interested in is to catch celebrities, get their pictures clicked and make some noise," Thackeray said
He compared the Maharashtra police with the NCB; he even pointed fingers at the working and efficiency of NCB, he even claimed that while NCB is recovering a small number of drugs and only focussing on celebrities, the Mumbai police are doing their actual work as the Mumbai police recently caught drugs worth Rs 150 crores during Mundra drug haul.
“They have painted a picture that Maharashtra has become a drug capital. That is not the case. In Mundra, there was a drug haul of crores. While your agencies are recovering pinch of ganja, the Maharashtra cops have recovered drugs worth Rs 150 crores," Thackeray further added.
Thackeray blamed NCB to malign the name of the state and portray it as a hub for drugs which makes the state bad in eyes of people “While we are being targeted, why are places like Uttar Pradesh, where rapes happen, not criticized as well?" he asked.

India is a democratic country where everyone is free to give statements and point fingers till they are in favor of this nation, when Uddhav talked about NCB the statements he gave were quite delusional in themselves as recently the Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede gave a media statement clearing doubts about the number of drug bursts solved by the NCB, thus it is hilarious as for a person who has been elected by people for the post of CM of a state like Maharashtra can give such baseless statements.
