India beats England in the fourth test match by 157 runs. India leads the series by 2-1.
A disciplined bowling effort and an equally good batting performance in the second innings helped India cross the victory line in the fourth Test match of the series. After winning their first test at the Oval since 1971, India leads the series 2-1.
India made a strong comeback in the game after giving away a lead of 99 runs in the first innings. Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur’s astonishing performance helped India set a target of 368 for England in the fourth innings. The English openers got off to a solid start, scoring 100 runs together. Sometimes you have to accept that a Team is better than you when the pressure is on … India are better when it really matters … #Fact #ENGvIND — Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) September 6, 2021

Can understand what allowed Kohli to boldly promise after Leed’s, ‘Watch out for our intensity in the next test’. Something special going on in that camp. Maybe not always visible in every result, but is visible in almost every performance. Another unforgettable win #ENGvIND — Jatin Sapru (@jatinsapru) September 6, 2021

What a victory by India! Top-class Test cricket spell by Bumrah, which changed the game upside down. Rohit and Shardul were brilliant overall. Brilliant captaincy by Kohli. #ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/3CyZuI8R7C — Yusuf Pathan (@iamyusufpathan) September 6, 2021
