BELAGAVI: A Muslim youth pelted stones at the Ashwathama temple at Pangu Galli here. However, he was caught by locals and handed over to the Market police.
Yasir, a resident of Ujwal Nagar, is said to be mentally unstable. He had indulged in a similar act on March 19 and sent to jail after a case was filed against him.
Yasir had been referred to a mental health institution while he was in jail. On Monday, he was released from the hospital and again pelted stones at the temple.
